Making parchment craft Christmas cards? Here are 10 tips to help you make them quicker and easier without compromising the beautiful look of parchment craft. They are in no particular order.

1. Use a white /gold / silver  gelpen or Pigma micron pen instead of mapping pen and Tinta ink to trace the pattern.

2. Use a Quickie Glue pen to apply the glitter, you can get a very fine line and apply the glitz exactly where you want it.

3. Choose an easy pattern with small amounts of gridwork or simplify the pattern by reducing the gridwork.

4. Make more than one card from the same pattern, you get quicker the more you do!

5. Make sure your card pattern fits a standard envelope size so you don’t need to make a special envelope for it.

6. Use ‘peel offs’ for borders and greetings, sentiments etc.

7. Instead of making a complete parchment craft card – make small, parchment craft labels with festive designs  and attach them to your ordinary Christmas cards with brads.

8. Use red bows, Card Candi and self adhesive gems to brighten your whitework.

9. Colour your cards with polychromos pencils, these are quick and easy to use and can be used on the front or the back of the parchment.

10. Use a PCA Christmas template to emboss a beautiful parchment card in minutes!
